As they said, a well maintained leather could last you a life time. This applies to our products as well since we are using the highest quality full grain leather. In today's article, we will explore some of the ways in taking care of your leather goods.
1. Avoid storage in direct exposure to sunlight/heat
Leather contains a tiny amount of water and oil naturally. It maintains the luster of the leather, keeping it colorful and supple. Leather products should normally be kept in a cool dark place. Prolonged exposure to sunlight and heat will result in loss of oil and moisture content within the leather fibre structure, making it weak. For that reason, the leather will dry up and crack easily.
2. Wipe away dust time to time with a soft dry cloth
Long term exposure of leather products to dust accumulation will result in a roughen and harden leather surface.
3. Avoid storage in high humidity area
Leather products should normally be kept in a well ventilated and dry area. Storing your leather goods in high humidity area will induce the growth of mold/fungi over time. If your leather product gets wet, wipe away with a soft dry cloth and let it air dry in room temperature.

4. Apply Leather Conditioner
Apply a small amount of leather conditioner and wipe thoroughly with a microfibre cloth in circular motion. The leather conditioner will nourish and restore the natural oil within the leather. It will also form a protective film over it, keeping them slightly water resistant.

5. Keep away from insects
Since leather is made up of natural animal proteins and fibers, it could be a potential meal for the insects. Storing your leather goods away from insects and bugs ensure product longevity.
